    NBC News:

    A jury in a high-stakes antitrust trial found Wednesday that Live Nation and its subsidiary Ticketmaster illegally maintained monopoly power in the ticketing market.

    Jurors delivered the verdict in federal court in New York City after around five weeks of trial, which featured testimony from dozens of witnesses. The jury began deliberating Friday.

    Just here to say ticket prices are so damn high. I’m not poor by any means but feel priced out of many concerts these days. I don’t see a world where it returns to the before times but maybe rulings like this will help in some way.

    Totally agree with this ruling and labeling Live Nation/Ticketmaster as a monopoly. But saying we were only overcharged $1.72 per ticket in certain states within the last 5 years? That’s ridiculous

    i slowly stopped going to concerts around 2022 because of the prices and because ive seen basically every band/artist i listen to at that point
