Dominion was bad but made interestingly bad choices. This was just bad bad. Completely forgettable slop.
Dominion brought back the original trio and did nothing with them. That’s worse than anything rebirth did or didn’t do.
Jurassic Park is at that Simpsons/Terminator point where the bad outweighs the good by now so you have to keep your expectations low.
I agree with this take. The locust thing is kind of a wild swing, which I appreciate in the world of very safe IP. Though the way everything plays out it feels like more of a fumble than a well thought out choice. Either way. Terrible movie.
between these and the Spielberg documentary series The Dinosaurs there's gonna be a whole lot of dinosaurs on Netflix in my house coming up
Rebirth was pretty terrible but hoping that without the pressure of being the “first” Gareth can improve
I think it was easily the best since The Lost World and it wasn't even close, but that's honestly not a very high bar to clear
Hopefully this time, given that he’s not just being added onto a project already deep into production at literally the last minute as a director for hire, he’ll be able to have more of a hand in preproduction and make a Jurassic movie he really wants to make. But who knows at this point.
