People were yelping in my packed screening about every little thing even when there weren’t dinosaurs on the screen. Some trash opinions in here.

There was never any sense of danger. I knew as soon as Ali’s character “died” that he’d come back. All of the characters with no dialogue died because of course. Same with the bad guy. Just a generic boring movie. Felt like it was written by AI at parts.

I enjoyed this WAY more than 28 Years Later, a film I doubt I’ll ever return to

28 years later is better in every single way.

Comparing apples to oranges, but from a pure enjoyment perspective I enjoyed this way more.

Been a long time since I’ve seen a film with such split opinions/perspectives. Wonder if it has to do with our expectations going in, or simple preferences for what we want a film to be.

I’m glad they gave him that little backstory, as otherwise him being so mad at the Dad would have seemed a bit out of nowhere - instead, we as an audience know now “why” he’s mad. That’s why in my initial reaction I felt like they didn’t insult our intelligence with the story, that most/all character decisions actually made sense, in the realm of the story.

Woah, so Sky Studios in the UK was used to flim the gas station and tunnel scenes, along with creating an artificial jungle setup and the clill wall rappeling scene

I mean I don’t have a kid and I would be mad at someone for sailing with their children in the forbidden dinosaur zone.

I guess as a mercenary, you could argue that in real life he probably wouldn't give a s*** the father took his kids on that trip, but because the guy had that backstory, he had extra motivation/reason to make a point about it

This was not a good movie but it was so damn awesome and entertaining. I personally loved this way more than 28 Years Later. Dinosaurs > Zombies.

Ya people having different opinions sometimes throws me off but then I am reminded we are not hive-minded automotons.

Think you just gave them the premise for their next movie. Zombie dinos. There’s gotta be another island in that chain

If most of the Dinos are now on this one island, I wonder where else they can take the story from here.
