I think you're missing the bigger picture here, which is that justin.'s wife's boyfriend has good taste in dinosaur movies
There’s actually somewhat decent, if not a little cheesy discussion throughout the film revolving around Bailey’s character trying to convince Johansson’s character to open source the dino blood miracle so that everyone can afford and gain access to it instead of only the rich….his quote “it’s all of us, not some of us” and of course there’s a rich ceo dude that is thinking in terms of shareholders and money. I’m sure conservative influencers will be all over that
I watched this movie yesterday (doing a full rewatch of all of them in anticipation of the movie). I somehow never put it together that this dream was tied to Billy using the 3D printed raptor larynx. I knew Alan was trying to get the parrot to say his name so I just assumed it was in reference to that.
There's tons of symbolism in the movies if you really pay attention. Like in Jurassic World, the T Rex busts through the skeleton of the Spinosaurus at the end of the movie. That crushed skeleton was supposed to symbolized the hope that there would ever be a good sequel.
This was so much fun! Such an adventure the whole way through. I truly had a smile and a “wow” face at so many moments. That boat trip sequence getting to the island alone was such a thrill ride. Beautifully shot as well; less dog shit CGI like the previous films. Plot moments also don’t insult your intelligence like the previous films either. It really brings the joy, wonder, and excitement back into the Jurassic Park franchise like the first films gave us
I don't think I've seen any of these in theaters since the original (other than maybe Jurassic World?) As a big, dumb summer action movie, this was fine. Very much enjoyed every scene that involved a boat or raft.
Just saw this. I liked it. Definitely better than the other World movies and III for me. Gonna wait a few days to poke fun at it though because I don’t spoiler tag.
I found it more frightening/intense than the last three movies at least, but it’s been a minute since I’ve seen those
This was pretty good. Better than all 3 World movies running away. Edwards, mercifully, understands the marks for a B-movie/disaster movie. The whole cold open is just classic monster movie stuff. Thought they did a nice job keeping the cast small enough to let you care about the characters. Cast did a great job. Landed some scares, some action, and a couple jokes. Pretty satisfying.
