Cool idea, but I don’t think it was fully fleshed out. The entire sequence jumps around and doesn’t flow well.

It’s like they had the bedroom scene in their head and didn’t know where to fit it.

  2. The whole black market bidding concept was a genuinely good one imo

None of the ideas in Fallen Kingdom were bad. They were just handled by someone who couldn’t use them in interesting ways.

I don't think the trailer looks bad so much as just kinda generic, but what makes me a little nervous is that I don't really see any sense of Gareth Edwards' signature visual style at all...

I'm hoping that's just the trailer tho

black market bidding on dinosaurs - let’s sell em for 1 million! The price is just so absurdly low even in a movie with so much ridiculous stuff

The trailer looks fun, even if the premise seems silly. I look forward to the line of dialogue that says a raptor soldier ate the original research or something so they have no choice but to go to the island.

Haven't seen a JP movie since the original three, and the tired soy banter in the trailer for this one doesn't encourage me to investigate beyond that.

Fallen Kingdom is easily my favorite of the sequel trilogy, it's the only one that seems to actively know how silly it is and has a lot of fun with it. First half feels like an Indiana Jones movie, second half is preposterous but never once do I get bored, which I can't say about Dominion.
