Everybody's iffy on the plot. No one talking about Goldblum, or Dinosaurs.

 

It looks like they dragged in Goldblum to talk in a court setting. Great?

I’m glad the dinos will be more practical this time around.

but if the story is stupid and the characters as thin as they were last time, that’s not a good movie. I want more from this movie.

 

From that teaser it looks to be more horror based, which is definitely a good thing.

 

I'm guessing the volcano thing is really just an excuse for them to transport the dinosaurs off the island so they can setup more ridiculous man vs. dino events in future movies.

 

I can’t wait til the next movie to get a non stupid story. I am so pumped.

 

I've always said that I'm at a point with this franchise where I would be 100% on board with them going full B-movie mode. I know most people didn't like it, but I got pretty excited about the idea of dinosaurs with guns in war or hybrid human/dinosaurs.

I love the original movie enough to get a tattoo of the logo on my leg (other leg has the ghostbusters logo, I'm a loser) and I would not hesitate to go see a movie, with the Jurassic Park logo on it, that had dinos with guns.

 

lol it's gonna turn into those terrible like anaconda vs. sharktopuss movies

 

I love those movies. My friends and I used to turn them into a drinking game.

 

Dino Croc vs Super Gator has always been my favorite.

 

Maybe someone should just make a Dino Crisis movie

Huge fan of the first game and the comics. I would pay a lot for that.

That BTS reel got me so excited.

 

I hope the third movie of the trilogy is just them undoing everything from this movie. "Ok guys, ya know what, we messed up. Let's drop these guys back into the volcano after all."

But really, plot of this seems goofy but I am 100% on board. Always will be for this franchise even when they do ridiculous things like have a T-Rex team up with Velociraptors and humans to fight a genius hybrid dino.

Tbh didn't know they had changed the plot until yesterday, I'm now much more excited. Despite not being great I was pretty content with JW's level of quality. Realistically we're not getting a smartly thought out, dark thriller where everything makes sense (lol), so I can settle for fun with this series for sure.

I dug most of it. I felt like the last bit was just showing us a full scene though which I always hate when trailers do that.

 

The part with showing sympathy for a raptor he raised was eye rolling. Tho the BTS footage still has me on board slightly.
