Has it been reported how big a part Jeff Goldblum has in this?

 

Just a small role I believe. I'm predicting 5 minutes screen time max.

 

Probably just whatever we saw in the trailer.

 

it's a slasher movie with dinosaurs. pretty fun to me haha.

 

Got tickets to opening night (but mainly just because I leave for vacation the next morning and wouldn't be able to see it for a week...) Still super excited even though I know it will probably be pretty dumb.

 

Got my Thursday tickets too. Should be fun.

 

Reviews are coming in. Doesn't sound half bad!

 

Its at 53 on Metacritic which is almost exactly half bad. lol

 

All i saw were positive reviews, seeing more negative ones now. Oh well, gonna see it no matter what. Dinosaurs and shit, hell yeah!

This was fun! Best opening sequence of the entire franchise, I was grinning like an idiot throughout. Very much reminded me of a 2018 version of the lost world. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10

 

Just give me a fun movie with dinosaurs at this point. Sounds like (from the small amount I read) it sets up a divisive third movie but I'm going to avoid reading much of anything.

 

I thought the last one was comically bad, but I’ll watch this when it hits HBO.

 

I didn't love Jurassic World either but I can't tell you how many times I've seen that movie. It's on TNT constantly.

 

I thought it was at least not terrible enough to keep me from being excited for a sequel haha I’m still pumped to see this new one, as low as my expectations may be.

 

The twist is interesting to say the least.

 

Also, isn't IGN positive towards... well, everything?

 

Based on how like every Walking Dead review I've seen has gotten above a 7, pretty much yeah lol

 

Just want to drop in and say Jurassic World: Evolution is a ton of fun.

 

That was worth a watch for sure. I've tried explaining this problem before about how these sequels have always been inherently fighting an uphill battle.

 

Yep, been playing it since Tuesday and I'm digging it a lot. Seems lacking in customization a bit but hopefully that's something they can patch in future updates.
