Steven Spielberg confirms Colin Trevorrow will direct third 'Jurassic World'

 

Great....

 

Bayona must have killed the original T-Rex after we as fans have been waiting 24 years to see him use his green li...wait wrong franchise.

 

I'll have to see how the next one turns out, but J World hit a lot of moments that I wanted in a Jurassic movie so I'm not upset by this.

JW was fine, the nostalgia wore off after the initial viewing.

 

JW never felt nostalgic.

 

It was practically an updated re-make of the original. It was the first sequel to establish a park setting. Whether it brought YOU back to your early days of JP fandom is one thing, but they absolutely wrote it for kids that grew up in the 90s.

 

Trevorrow should be relegated to directing things like the Resident Evil and Underworld movies. He has no singular voice when it comes to his directing style (or lack there of) and he’s an awful writer. I don’t understand why he’s allowed to stay in the big leagues when he’s just a glorified director for hire. I don’t see any difference between him and someone like Paul W.S. Anderson.

 

Why would they want a director with a singular voice? The last one made almost two billion dollars in theaters.

 

I still like Safety Not Guaranteed

 

Oh yeah Safety was great.

Honestly I give him shit, but I rewatched JW recently. It was still a lot of fun. Even though the dialogue is terrible.

 

I am. So. Upset. Hahaha. Like, I don’t particularly care about the sanctity of the JP franchise but this fucking hack continuing to get opportunities is so frustrating.

 

Whenever I think of Trevorrow, I think of this incredible takedown video. I never even saw the Book of Henry, and it’s still fun to watch.

 

Let’s just all be thankful he’s not directing episode IX.

 

And they failed miserably.

 

That surf scene looks pretty awesome and I adore Jeff Goldblum.

 

Previews for trailers are lame as hell.

 

What’s worse? mini-trailer placed in front of the trailer, or preview for a trailer?
