Based on a rigorous 10 seconds of research it would seem that shot is cgi. the closeups are animatronics

 

I feel like the rain/darkness does a lot to cover the shortcomings of the CGI

in hindsight it's a little weird that everyone's call it the TROS of jurassic park when if anything it has way more commonalities w/ last year's ghostbusters dreck

I wish it would have gone full crazy with hologram Hammond. Instead it’s a lot of lore about the clone girl who is boring as hell.

 

i'll concede i liked this maybe an iota more than FK, but other than a genuinely solid chase early on i can't think of something in here where i'd at least say there's hints of something that'd make this thing good overall

 

Did I make a mistake by spending $25 on an IMAX ticket to see this tomorrow here in Oslo?

 

I don’t understand how they made a dinosaur movie and then kind of forgot to feature the dino’s.

Also, crops?! What the fuck was going on in the writers room.

 

I swear people at Universal said: what franchise brings us infinite amount of money? Sir that would be the Fast & Furious franchise. Alright folks, we need that but with dinosaurs.
And they did just exactly that with this movie. I mean I will probably watch these movies because I freakin love dinos but this is definitely not a good movie.

 

it will make a billion. that's all that matters in the end.

 

Pls. Someone say the OG cast makes it worth watching. Pls. If this thing is even almost as bad as FK I’m going to scream
