Wow awesome! I’ve listened to June years ago but never knew about this EP. Production is quite good for a first EP.
What a fucking great band. I remember going to their shows when they would do mini weekend tours around the midwest. So good.
There is a name I hadn't heard in long time. Lyrics to "OK Corral" immediately came back to me though
Why are streaming services so bad at separating artists with the same name? There's like a million albums under 'June' on TIDAL. YTM is the same. Maybe Spotify is better? I don't know why June, the band from Chicago, isn't like JUNE011240 or something in their database, seems like a crazy oversight so I feel like there must be some weird reason for it.
Their Spotify profile says the band appeared on this album from this artist that has one monthly listener. Sharing it so everyone also has to hear this chorus. Now you're like me.
Yeah its surprising how often stuff like this happens. I use apple music and sometimes certain bands are split into two separate pages and some of their albums on one and other albums on a different entry as if it were a different artist. Also sometimes I’ve seen some bands’ albums not listed under the album section and instead listed under compilations even though its just a regular album.
their actual first EP is horrible sounding LOL as i posted it above, they were originally called Drive Like June the June EP i believe is their third release
holy shit, im glad i went to their spotify , they got their second EP on here wow! i lost my copy and haven't heard this in foreverrrrrrrrr
June is a band that I would love a one-off reunion show from. I found their lead singer on LinkedIn a while back. He’s in marketing now I think. Random, I know.
a couple of em became firefighters, or at least tried out back in the day, not sure if they ever made it but i thought that was an interesting 180 from a music career haha, good for tim, he is a nice guy, i haven't seen him in forever!
do you still have the mp3s from this? i had no idea this existed, always thought This Side Of Your Room was the first EP
