Done! Now I wait. If I don't get a response I'm gonna head to the venue and see if I can work out a way in there.
I noticed there is a 4 or 5 day gap between her Madison, WI date and one of her Canadian dates, so I'm quietly praying a MI date gets added in that timeframe.
i hope the album does come out in oct like people are speculating so seeing her at the end of december will give me adequate time to be obsessed with it haha.
Saw her on Saturday and she was outstanding. Stood next to Matt from The Get Up Kids the whole time which is something that I will never get tired of
That's so wonderful. I saw Pinegrove do a very similar thing a couple days ago. Someone couldn't make it to the show because they couldn't afford it, and Evan tweeted at them saying "If cost is whats keeping you from attending I'd be happy to put you on the guest list"
Yesss! Dude I hope you are taller than me and can see. Pretty sure I won't be able to see her at all when she comes out to play
Those of you who have seen her headline...(I've only seen her open for KD), does she typically mix it up between piano and guitar or does she usually just stick to guitar for the most part? I'd love to see Go Home and the piano version of Good News live.
Dang! I've somehow ended up in the back by the opening in... i had an ok spot but I'm too nice and let people walk past me AKA they ended up in front of me and are way tall
oh interesting, never seen her headline so i had no idea she sometimes did piano stuff. it's like a keyboard, right? not like a piano piano?
I'm so jealous of your spot. I got there plenty early but was talking to my friend for too long and didn't snag a good spot before the opener started so we got stuck. And me being short + Julien being short + Kilby basically not having a stage = me only getting brief glimpses. Still super glad I got to go. Also the opening band, Luray was great
I'm jealous. When I saw her headline last year she only had her guitar. Hopefully she'll have a keyboard on her next show here since she's at a bigger venue this time around.
