How do you even rank them? Mine would go something like this:

What I'm trying to say is, they are all my babies and I love them equally.

 

I was just making a lighthearted joke because we barely have more than ten Julien Baker songs. But in all seriousness, I'm not sure which ones I would leave out of a top ten.

Haha, hard to say. If she releases the new album in September or October, showing no acknowledgment to it would be foolish. But if it's in November (which is when my paper is due), I think I'm just going to have to avoid it altogether.

 

You mean until December, and then you spin the new album not stop, right? Lol

 

Haha, I just meant with regards to my paper. Believe me, I'll be listening at least ten times the day it drops.

Also very cool to me that MWY is both Julien and Hayley's favorite band. I know a tour with the 3 of them would literally never happen, but that is the sort of thing I daydream about.

ALso, This

 

Sprained Ankle came on at the gym today and I'm still unsure if that was sweat or tears in my eyes.

 

Weird song to come on at the gym.

 

It's controlled by whoever is manning the front desk. Guess they were in an emo/scene mood, bc they paired it with MCR, FOB, and Dashboard Confessional.

 

I would be stoked if I heard it at the gym, but it would probably slow me down a lot haha.

 

It definitely killed my set haha

 

Envious of the awesome music at the gym, whenever I show up at the gym at my area the music sucks there big time! ;d


Anyway, just bought a ticket to see Julien in Berlin this Thursday! This is going to be the 3rd time in a row I'd be travelling 550km for a single show, alone ehh... but it's gonna be worth it this time as well!

 

Also, Julien gets covered or twitted at (etc.) by nearly all her music heroes, it's so overwhelming, seems great! How cool is that?

I'd be done if Jesse Lacey and Dustin Kensrue did some covers of mine, not to mention she sang with Ben Gibbard, and lots of other great things happening around her, well-deserved though!
