My fiancé really wants to play her for our wedding, but I told her how that a majority of her work is beautiful. Though in a sad/depressing/not suited for weddings beautiful.

 

I could see one of hers working somewhere. some friends of mine used "After Afterall" by William Fitzsimmons for their recessional, and even though it's a song about divorce, it was still pretty beautiful.

 

I don't know why this was so funny to me.

 

I don't know. I think "Everybody Does" would be a great song for anyone to walk down the aisle to.

For real though, I'd say "Vessel" at the very least comes CLOSE to wedding material. Still a little intense, but I could see someone making it work.

got sprained ankle and the funeral pyre 7" delivered today. haven't heard either song from the 7" yet.

 

First time hearing this and I'm blown away with how awesome it is. Is this project defunct now that Julien's solo career has gotten as big as it has?

Not exactly true. Forrister still plays shows every once in a while, with Julien too. I think they played a show last october or something for fun. Julien is just pretty busy with her project so she's not exactly going to go and record with Forrister (which is what Star Killers changed their name to)

 

I know Forrister posted a few songs a few months ago but they had to take them down to contract issues (likely to Julien's solo contract)

 

if you have those hit me with them btw

 

I'd love to hear more Forrister songs, the ones that are out there are pretty perfect!

 

Unfortunately I didn't even get to hear them before they got pulled.
