I've probably said this a million times, but Funeral Pyre is just never fails to amaze me. And it's true There's nothing that we could do That line gets me every fucking time.
After watching her Audiotree performance, I'm now fully sold on her as an artist and human being. Getting a ticket to her Minnesota show in August
What if she gives us 8-10 more? The two songs she's put out makes me physically ache for a second record.
I'm pretty sure she recorded a lot of songs when she went in the studio for Funeral Pyre/Distant Solar Systems, and I'd imagine her label will want her to get a new record out this year. I'd be pretty surprised if we don't get one.
so she's opening for conor oberst at austin city limits Conor Oberst - Tickets - Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater - Austin, TX, May 19, 2017 | Ticketfly
I'm a Christian and "Rejoice" brings me to tears. It's such a complicated emotion she expresses at the end of the song (something like "defiant joy") and it's unbelievably beautiful. Reminds me that even my worst days have purpose.
she's gonna be at the Decemberist's festival in Montana in August, might need to start planning a roadtrip out west.
