Honestly one of my favorite covers ever.

 

Julien will be playing two shows with Ben Gibbard at Thalia Hall in Chicago! Shows are Thursday January 19th and Friday January 20th. So incredibly excited, can't believe I'll get to see those two together, both two of my favorite artists of all time.

 

i want her to record her "Accident Prone" cover so bad.

Honestly yeah. Circa is close, but I absolutely cannot wait to see where Julien goes next.

 

I'm gonna assume The National's next album is next year and call that my most anticipated, but Julien Baker is up there. Guaranteed to be one of the absolute best albums of the year. And, maybe next time she comes to Pittsburgh touring on that album I won't find out too late and miss her like I did the last TWO times.
