She said she’s been sick! So maybe that’s why some of you thought she was off last couple shows. I thought she was incredible tonight!

 

I just started really listening to Julien, and man, I really love her music. Right up my alley- I'm a big fan of soft, ambient music. I saw her perform on Stephen Colbert a couple months ago but never really followed up on checking her music out. Beautiful voice for sure.

Also, her collaboration with Manchester Orchestra is incredible.

Apparently there was some kinda secret/low key free show here in Seattle at the local radio station. Got the text from my wife who was going to go grocery shopping saying "jk dropping everything to go see Julien Baker at KEXP" while I was out working :(
