She was incredible last night. I don't think I've ever seen someone induce such a palpable silence during a song and be greeted with that kind of uproarious applause after each one. It felt special.
The Chicago show I went to in October is the best show I’ve ever been to and the best day I had all year. The Grand Rapids show back in march is top 10.
Still thinking about her performance the other night. It was so good. Also really enjoyed both openers, Adam Torres and Half Waif.
I was on the left side of the Orchestra. Row J, so I think like 9 or 10 rows back from the front. Sat right next to the aisle so I had a perfectly unobstructed view. Only thing was since I was on the left side, her back was facing us whenever she was on the piano ha.
I'll never forget hearing Even, Hurt Less, and Televangelist live for the first time. I was shaking by the time I heard "I know that I'm evil..." Incredible.
I saw her in ferndale on my birthday in 2016 and it was so special. Also introduced me to phoebe bridgers
I was crushed I had to miss that one. I saw her open for Daughter at the Majestic. She was the perfect opening act for them.
I wasn't able to make it to the Ferndale show or the Daughter show, but I did go to both Grand Rapids shows at Calvin College.
Someone on the reddit thread posted a playlist of the house music that’s been played during recent tours: Slightly OT: The playlist that has played before every JB gig for the last 3 months, including lots of her favourite songs • r/JulienBaker
I saw julien right after she had released sprained ankle. Saw her in Denton (a dfw suburb so it wasn’t even Dallas) to a crowd of like 30 people for $8 and I sat literally on the stage in the front. Can’t believe how much exposure and growth shes had since that. Seeing her on Wednesday for my 3rd time and im so excited.
