Claws in Your Back destroys me. I only got one full listen before going into meetings today but I love this album.
So I went to collect my Brand New vinyl and the new Julien Baker one was there too!!!! Best post day ever.
Last night's show was amazing. Not going to get too in-depth but the new songs sounded amazing and it was arguably the most powerful performance I've seen all year (I've been to over 30 shows in 2017). Incredible. Perfection. I snagged the translucent orange vinyl and I want my first listen to be on that. The leak is super tempting but I know waiting to sit down at home with the vinyl and lyrics sheet will be worth the wait.
I feel so left out when it comes to her music. Srained Ankle showed promise so I hoped I would enjoy this. After one spin I think it’s just fine. Also saw her last week and was rather unimpressed after Half Waif and Petal’s sets.
They did a David Bazan cover of Bad things to such good people that will be released separately at some point.
I wanted to stay. Bawling my effing eyes out y'all. Sitting at my church office desk, blubbering like a baby.
Just noticed the last line of Go Home compared to the last line of Claws and I am now an emotional wreck.
The 'leave the car running' part of Hurt Less has destroyed me. My expectations were ridiculous ever since Funeral Pyre first came out, and I'm stunned that it's exceeded all of them.
The blue splatter vinyls are going for $100+ on Ebay? It sucks that people that never cared to own one in the first place bought them for the sole purpose of making a profit
I'm not home tomorrow, so I'm afraid I won't hold it up until it comes out officially, my copy won't be home for a long time anyway ;u
Even sounds like a Jimmy Eat World acoustic song. Also (I like Everybody Does much more of we’re discussing the best acoustic songs in her discography)
