I'm from/live in Quincy, MA, which is the birthplace of Dunkin' Donuts. I always thought to myself if I ever got the chance to meet her, I should tell her to check out the original location, but of course...
Knowing many of you have a record still in pre shipment, I'm not going to open and listen until you get it.
Not even done with my first listen and I've already thought three different songs were the best thing she's written yet. "Happy To Be Here" is just spectacular. The way her voice gets more and more intense at the end of the chorus is beautiful.
HA! It's alright I have to do and I'm not feeling too good. I need a nap after work. I'm thankful this isn't reddit. I'd be downvoted to hell
Update on my shipment issues - Emailed Matador. Their response was "Yeah, it can take a couple days until USPS scans packages." So that was of no help.
Sometimes it sits in that status and then a day later it's out for delivery. You say to yourself "thanks for the anxiety matador"
Totally! Not fair at all. If I sold anything, I'd be fair. I don't buy music to make a profit. So dumb. It's like looking at eBay on record store day
Hurt Less (that last chorus is hauntingly beautiful and uplifting at the same time) and Sour Breath (that ending) are my two favorites on first listen
