Is there more to Jason's write-up than those 2 paragraphs?

 

I'm guessing so... it says the article is available exclusively to supporters which has reminded me I need to renew my membership.

 

I set the picture of me and Julien as my phone background, and there hasn't been a single time that I've opened my phone and not smiled upon seeing it.

I am so excited to experience this album with all of you.

 

I have been going between this thread, the supporter thread, and the Julien Baker subreddit just waiting on someone to say it leaked because I have no patience.

 

I am still absolutely dying to hear Hurt Less after seeing it live. Someone please send me the studio version and put me out of my misery. My patience is also wearing thin.

First listens alone make being a supporter worth it.

 

Don't think I could stand reading a first impressions at this point - I'm anticipating this album so much, even though I hope it doesn't leak I'm still checking here every few minutes just to see if it's out there or not. It's hard to explain but I just know I need this album now, as it's coincided with a pretty rough period for me.

On a side note, this is one of the few times where I'm so glad that the artist hasn't released half the album through singles beforehand. Sure, I've listened to Appointments and Turn Out the Lights to death, but ecstatic to hear nine entirely new songs (bar the few I heard in London earlier this year, but I can't really remember them in too much detail) for once.

 

How long have her sets been on this tour? Seeing her tonight but she doesn't go on until 10:40 and I'm just curious how late I'm going to be out.

Julien Baker's Expansive, Holy New Album

This is so cool

 

There are moments on this LP that are truly indescribable. Moments that leave me speechless. An once-in-a-lifetime record.

 

Oh man. The hype is too real. Haven't been this excited for a record in years. Sprained Ankle is in my top 5 records of all time but I have a feeling this may top it.

 

How come I feel like we’ve gotten a few of these this year? Insane
