MO is my favorite band of all time.....but I think Julien just claimed that song in a way Cash claimed Hurt and Adele claimed Make You Feel My Love

 

Holy cow. Need a covers album a la Thoughts On A Different Blood at some point in her career.

 

Really wish I could've snagged one of the coloured variants of the new album. I got clear, but the pink splatter and orange variants have me very sad.

 

You should be able to get the orange variant on the 27th through Matador.

We are officially in the month of a new Julien Baker album

 

Umm...I just now realized this comes out the same day as Stranger Things 2. Merry Christmas to us all.

 

I've been so burnt out from shows and festivities this past month but it appears I'm gonna be back downtown on the date of the Chicago show so I may go to this after all fortunately

 

I can’t wait to hear the studio version of Happy To Be Here. Love that song. May well be my favourite of hers currently.

 

I'm glad I havn't been listening to the live videos of the new stuff. Rather just hear it all fresh on the album.

 

I don’t have the patience to pull off that haha.

 

I listened to Appointments twice but will not listen to another song until the album drops. I want this to be special.

 

I only listened to Appointments once the day it was release. I want to hold out. I'm also seeing her 5 days before the record drops, and I'm sure she'll play 4-5 new songs at the show, so I really don't need to hear any other singles.

 

I didn't realize this until after I bought my tickets, but her LA show is on the same day The Last Jedi comes out.

There are very few things in the world that would prevent me from seeing Star Wars on opening night. Julien Baker's LA show is one of them.

 

My most anticipated release of the year.

 

Thinking about getting a tattoo with lyrics from Vessels. I'd like to do the line, "So much I think, little I know" inside the pages of an open book, and I think I'd like it go above my left ankle. It would be a sort of amalgamation of my love for Julien, my love for that song and what it means to me, my love of literature, and my love of education.

 

Love it! I'm also leaning towards a Julien tattoo as my next one, I just don't know what yet. Thinking about "I rejoice and complain."

The tour starts next week. I'd be looking at Monday or Tuesday for a new song.
