Didn’t know he was the TOTL artist!

    I do not exist.

The host is Ryan Rado - he actually has Tourettes. He's good friends with the guys from Emery too - I think he's been on two episodes of the BC Podcast where he talks about his life/condition etc. He's a really genuine guy and I absolutely love his artwork. Didn't know he'd started this on Youtube - looking forward to watching.

Since I know a lot of people are probably curious what’s been going on with Julien, here is an update from Matthew Gilliam and Christina McKinney.

Idc if she releases an album once every ten years, as long as she’s okay

That would also probably be better for my own mental health lmao

wrap yourself in petals for armor.

I'm happy she's slowing down and focusing on what she needs. I hope she takes all of the time that is necessary.

Yeah I'd rather she take time and care for herself than feel obligated to put out an album every 2-3 years.

She'll be back when she's ready. Her existing music is still there in the meantime.

We are also getting two new songs in a couple of weeks thanks to the Sub Pop Singles Club! (Some people have already received vinyl of the songs)

"Tokyo" feels like a companion piece to "Red Door" but the production is a lot more involved, the second half is like a post-rock song and it's fucking fire

"Sucker Punch" is more standard Julien, still terrific
