Julien Baker has signed with Matador Records. She’s also released the new song “Funeral Pyre” and announced that her fantastic debut, Sprained Ankle, will be re-released. And, on top of all that awesomeness, there’s some new tour dates as well. “Funeral Pyre” comes from a new 7″ that will be released in March.

    I'm assuming the re-release means we probably won't get a new full-length in 2017.

    D'oh! Prestigious

Hoping for more new music this year, especially seeing as I had listened to those amazing live versions of Funeral Pyre like 1000 times, and for starters every change made me feel a bit uncomortable, but after hearing it a few times I already truly love all of those new tweaks in the performance.
