Turn Off The Lights is so different from Sprained Ankle to me, I can't imagine saying you've been bored since her debut album over 10 years ago lol

 

Sprained Ankle is super special to me but Little Oblivions is amazing

 

I felt like the production on LO was lackluster. I feel like if they went to an outside producer it could have made those songs go to the next level.

 

TOTL hit hard for me at the time. Haven't gone back to it (or any Julien stuff, really) in some time.

 

Little Oblivions is the only album of hers I love

My issue with Little Oblivions is the songs sounded better live than recorded. It's a great record, but it sounded like she went halfway on the fuller sound.

Sprained Ankle and TOTL are all timers. Can't wait for the next one.

 

I really liked the country album with Torres from last year but I know not everyone did.

 

I actually completely forgot about the country album and never gave it a listen

 

little oblivions defined a very rough period for me feb 2024 so it'll always hold a special place in my heart. shoutout relative fiction. the first two really aren't my thing, and i have yet to listen to the torres album but i liked the singles!

 

I like the JB songs better. Dirt, Sugar In The Tank, Downhill both ways are all bangers
