speaking of what is something fun to do in chicago during the day that doesn’t cost a lot of money and isn’t bean related and is also reasonable for someone who is almost 7 months pregnant
If you're trying to be near Thalia, the National Museum of Mexican Art is in Pilsen and is free! Other free and nice things are the Lincoln Park and Garfield Park conservatories (need to make a reservation for those, fyi) and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Lincoln Park Zoo and Navy Pier. Also, I believe The Dusable Black History Museum offers free admission every Wednesday.
if anyone has balcony tickets for tomorrow’s show and wants to trade for general admission please let me know! i reached out to thalia about seating accommodations for my wife and they said they’d be able to work something out, but having balcony would ease my mind a bit
I don’t recall where accessible seating is on the floor at Thalia Hall but it may be seats with a table on either side of the room. I usually try to grab one that isn’t designated for ADA for myself anyway as one side is slightly elevated.
They’re full band, Matt, Calvin, and Noah are all in Chicago. Mariah isn’t part of the band anymore but I’m not sure if anyone new was added since the Little Oblivions tour. Matt is very active on the Julien Baker discord and has been hyping up the shows.
doesnt surprise me in the slightest but definitely miss the old days of showing up an hour before doors and getting barricade
Because I’m there now - right side of room, table closest to the stage is ADA seating. Security stands right there so just ask them.
Nope. I knew people would spend the day here. I’m thankful that I was still able to snag a non-ADA table.
