I was also in Chicago up near the barricade and both the crowd and sound were fine, bummer that wasn’t the case further back. I’ll never get tired of seeing Julien play.
She’s going to be touring next year with Torres as far as I know for their country album if you’re missing this tour or having a bad crowd experience. I have a feeling that will be solo JB so it will be a more varied setlist.
Have you heard when they're gonna start any roll-out on that album? I'd love to hear how's the vibe on it, highly anticipated!
No idea, but considering the Wild Hearts Tour just ended and that was the last tour of this album’s cycle apparently (see below), my guess is soon.
Yeah I was worried because she paused mid set but it was because someone passed out and she was waiting for them to get help
ok, so that kinda settles it on the no encore thing, though I'm not sure if she likes the idea anyway - she didn't come out at her headlining set in the UK where I went too - but it was a perfect set all in all!
This was actually addressed in the Vulture story on the tour, long story short due to a personal incident/issue that happened between the end of the European tour and the start of this tour (it was briefly mentioned in here before rightly removed due to not being appropriate to discuss without Julien's approval) she had to back out of doing a cover every night. A Little Help From Their Friends
Oh I get it, yeah I saw something was mentioned to have been removed from here, so I didn't get into it any further. But that's understandalbe!
I am very ready for news about this collab album. Mackenzie posted this yesterday and tagged Aisha Burns (who has performed live with Julien before) and Thor Harris (who has worked with a bunch of artists per Wikipedia) so maybe it’s a sign of something soon?
