Left hand side of the Ryman on the main floor but I’ll take it. Hopefully I can nab something better come Friday and sell these.
I’m pondering what the TBA venue in Chicago will be. Lord Huron just announced a similar TBA for Chicago in the same timeframe.
feel free to shoot me a dm if your ideal scenario does play out forgot about the presale so i’ll be trying on friday as well, but if catastrophe strikes and i miss out then too for whatever reason i’ll probably be interested
Any reason why Northerly Island wouldn't have been announced yet? I was thinking Ravinia since they announce most of the season at the same time. Or maybe the new Double Door, but that's probably not big enough (though it is apparently bigger than the old location).
Honestly not sure. HAIM is playing Northerly Island this summer and was able to announce. I just assume it’s there because it’s outdoors, seems like the right size, and in Chicago proper. Ravinia seems like it’s more geared towards B/C list musicians who are past their prime mostly, not three indie artists. I dunno though.
Double Door is indoors, Wild Hearts tour specifically called out only Toronto and Nashville as being indoors.
Pritzker would have been announced. Robert Plant and Allison Krause are playing there this summer. Ravinia is making more sense now.
Is the entire venue assigned seats? I might plan a trip around this show, but I want to know if I should get on the public onsale as soon as it opens Friday
It is. Ryman is the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. It’s the Mother House. I’m so excited to finally make it for a show.
Whenever I've been in Nashville I always make a stop there and pop in just to look. You can feel the history there. Once I saw that this tour was stopping there I knew I had to make the drive down.
Ok, I think I have a good idea now where these TBA Chicago shows are. The Salt Shed. https://instagram.com/saltshedchicago?utm_medium=copy_link
Run by 16 on Center, the same group behind Thalia Hall and Empty Bottle. Outdoor shows start this summer.
