I think I’m just really enjoying the direction her music has been going in

 

But yeah Hurt Less is top tier

 

Hurt less might be my least favorite on TOTL and I know I might get crucified for this take.

 

"Rejoice" isn't just my favourite Julien song it's one of my favourites of the decade

Go Home is my favorite song of all time. I couldn’t even begin to put together a favorites list beyond putting that as my number one.

Hurt less is a top 3 song on totl and maybe from her whole catalogue!! It’s definitely the song I return to most often.
I need to listen to Tokyo again though. It’s been awhile, and I’m so excited for more full band Julien.

Yooooo. I'll stick that in the middle to keep the pattern and see how that flows.

 

Lemme know how it works. Kept a distinct pattern to make it easier (Tokyo & Sucker Punch are 1 & 6, the Boygenius songs are 2 & 7, covers are 4 & 9, etc.). Gonna throw "Ballad of Big Nothing" in the middle and see how that flows. I'm such a nerd, but I like the idea of having a third Julien Baker album to listen to in prep for Little Oblivions.
