Julien Baker Covers Elliot Smith’s “Ballad of Big Nothing”

Beautiful cover. I'm listening to her album now for the first time. The lyrics cut deep, and I like the rawness of her voice. Definitely going to pick it up on iTunes.

 

It's almost becoming an understatement to refer to her music as beautiful or powerful, it's ethereal, heavenly... this cover just adds to that & I think Elliot would be proud.

 

Exactly. I shouldn't be amazed anymore since I come to expect nothing but raw and beautiful music from here yet here I am, amazed once again.

 

Julien Baker covering Elliot Smith just makes so much sense.
