Oh wow I remember downloading a demo of Hey Maude twelve years ago

Wasted is…fine? Kinda boring. Doesn’t feel like a JtG song. Still love Ramona tho.

Sweet! I like the three songs that have been released from this.

I guess Stay the Night and Call Me Joe were just bonus/extra tracks. They also had that Keys in the Car song that is only a live version, I was hoping there would be a studio version of that on the album. And three interludes/intros?

But who cares we get new JtG tracks!

This song sounds just as good as it did live. Excited for the new album.

Interesting to hear a bit of Tommy's solo stuff reimagined on How The World Began. Album feels a tad overproduced to me, but still very good.

Yeah, this is their most interesting album is quite a while. I'm not sure it all works (especially "Brass Band"), but they really swing on some of this stuff.

    "Hey Maude" is killer.

It is definitely their most unique/experimental album. There is a lot to like here.

I need more time with it though.

Some good stuff here although the production on a lot of it bugs me (although weirdly I like Brass Band a lot!) I think this might be the first JtG album where I like the Tommy songs more.

I like how they are swinging for the fences a bit here. Nice change up from the last one, which I liked but didn’t love

Really enjoying this whole thing, but Hey Maude in particular is a career highlight
