Love the singles, first listen left me unimpressed but after a few more listens a lot more tracks standing out. Seems to be more mature lyrically as well for the most part

 

Really enjoying nothing,nowhere.

 

"Ring Ring" is far and away the worst song I've heard this year

 

i liked the last album but have no desire to listen to this after hearing a few songs

this has no business being 72 minutes long haha

 

yeah I definitely think this album could have been trimmed down, theres some real catchy tracks on it and then others that sound like improv

 

Rumor is another album is already in the works. In case you’re already burned out of these 72 minutes worth of material.

this sucks - got into DRTL this weekend and woke up to this news today. What an absolute shame.

 

Wow I am speechless. Absolutely terrible news.

 

This is so sad. Juice was so young and had so much potential.

 

This is the weirdest timing. Been listening to this on repeat this weekend alongside Circles by Post Malone and it made me really happy seeing how many talented young artists there are - and even happier to see Juuce coming out of Chicago close to where I’ve lived.

Really, really sad seeing all of these young deaths with many at them just beginning to creatively flourish and enter adulthood. I hope the music these artists create inspire another generation to build on what they’ve created - and take care of themselves along the way. Lots of great music being left here - selfishly disappointed it’s all I will get but mostly just sad another person with such talent is now gone.

First time listening to this album and it's great. Typically I'm not huge on emo-rap, but this hits the sweet spot. Really sad he's gone. He clearly vented his problems through his raps. I've read he was also one of the best freestylers in the game.

 

That may be a little bit of an overstatement but he was certainly significantly better at it than many of his contemporaries. He for sure was a gifted rapper.

 

I know you were asking about his best project in the hip hop thread. Did you get to listen to Goodbye and Good Riddance as well, or only Deathrace?

Only checked out Deathrace so far but gonna check out Goodbye tomorrow. I saw All Girls on its tracklist, which I didnt like when it released, as well as your comment about the iffy lyrics which is why i started with Deathrace
