Holding off on listening to Half Your Age cause a bunch of songs from the album are already out there, but Obsession absolutely slaps
Yeah.. I wish half of the record wasn't already released (and blank slate is pretty meh) but I am excited for this record none the less! Hoping for a gold variant pre-order
This is pretty good but nowhere near the brilliance of 2017’s “Content”. That may end up being their magnum opus.
This would have been better/stronger as an EP. 1. Half Your Age 2. Obsession 3. F.E.A.R. 4. Funny Thing About Opinions 5. No Shoulder 6. Who Owns Who? 7. Like A Kennedy Just sayinnnnn'
Rochester, NY claim to fame. A friend of mine's former band played a few shows with them when they were known as The Hoodies
Think this is probably their best album. Who Owns Who is the only one I’d cut But the version of Blastofff on here is like the epitome of a band making unnecessary changes to a song to justify including it on an album released two years after the original release of the song
Just got my first listen in this morning. I really liked this. I heard of them maybe 5 years ago because of the tv show Teen Wolf (haha). I liked a handful of stuff but nothing really stuck beyond that. I legit enjoyed this entire album front to back.
I don’t know if you happened to listen to the audio commentary Daniel recorded for this song, but I really liked what he had to say: Really resonates with me when he gets to the lines at the end “Giving up is not a crime Moving on when it’s time” I tried my hand for so long at an industry that never seemed to lead anywhere and I felt like a failure because of it. While I’ve since moved on, I do still apply to jobs in that field from time to time but I no longer feel the misplaced resilience of pressure or guilt. I tried and it’s not a crime to move on. Really like this song.
this is a huge fav of mine right now. might end up in my top 10 for the year. the title track and "No Shoulder" are great combos that stuck out to me immediately on first listen, but each song has been growing on me.
Yeah Content is my favorite album by them by far. I like this new song and After Coffee though. Highly anticipating the new album.
All the singles for the new record are sounding meh to me so my expectations are pretty low. Like I said; Content >>>>>>>>
