the one im not sold on is after all you put me through and that’s because i cannot remember what it sounds like when im not listening to it
I thought “Gotta Let It Go” was a perfect single and I love the cover art for 40 oz but that record never really connected with me outside of that.
Comfortably one of their best. Going back to this record, but the last two are so good that it makes me immediately want to listen to the album again.
Opener is very Menzingers coded and is great. whole album very good. They're a band I always forget about but I do enjoy everything they've done and are very good live.
I have nearly been just as obsessed with Share What Ya Got as I am with this album, ha. Lots of jumping back and forth between the two. I’ve loved JM for a pretty long time and it feels great to have another of this caliber from them.
After a week with it, this is definitely among the top of their discography for me. Also, I will echo the love for Gotta Let it Go. That song is constantly in my head.
Million Dollars has Big Lie, Wildflowers, Up The Punx and Think I’m Still in Love With You those songs alone make it a great album
My only gripe with the album is probably Been Here Before. It’s not bad at all and I can appreciate the bridge and harmonica, but seems like the weakest track on here by a decent margin. It also doesn’t help that it’s sandwiched between the two best songs on the album….
