you’re joking, but I’m insane and purposely don’t use it because I’ll forget to turn it off and I generally really do not like when an album automatically starts over lol
my favorite thing about a band releasing an album i really enjoy is revisiting their discography, as to not overplay the new stuff, and then having everything click in all the right ways
Okay the rest of this album has grown on me and I’m pretty much just playing the whole thing on repeat non stop. Grey Guitar is already a top 5 JM song for me
This is already my favorite JM album since Million Dollars. Front to back..no skips..rockabilly....come on......
I can’t wait to go to that show. I keep buying tickets for shows and then backing out because I end up not wanting to go alone but now that this album is out and considering how much I loved the new MG album there is no way I’m skipping this one. Combat is good as well.
NHA and Cody are the only albums where I put every single song into my “Best of Joyce Manor” playlist. Normally at least one song is just “okay”. This is now the third one where I’ve done that. Absolutely loving this record.
title track ingrained in my brain last 3 days. loved getting through 4 listens running weekend errands.
there's a third eye blind bounce to the verse of "well, whatever it was" that I am personally allergic to, love the chorus though. torn! "the opposum" and "grey guitar" are my faves on here. perfect joyce manor songs. barry sounds a little more energized throughout. some of his vocals on here sound unchanged from the early stuff.
Listening to OATISWGT a lot lately because I don't often listen to it, man what a record. I remember playing the shit out of this in high school at parties and nobody vibing with it haha
