This is so good. Well, Don't It Seem and Grey Guitar are my favorites on first listen.

Grey Guitar just fucked me up, listened to it three times after immediately

 

The guitar work on this record feels like it’s a notch above the others (without referencing backwards)

the verses on don’t it seem are basically off of the self titled record

 

Joyce Manor is one of the few bands I've introduced to my partner that he latched on to. He even downloaded All My Friends and Well, Whatever It Was without me sending the songs. Anyways, he loves this album too.

 

Mark Chen as the intro works (I didn’t pay attention to the track listing till just now, but its placement made it click for me)

Warming up very quickly to this record

Not to knock on the last few full lengths, but this feels like the spiritual successor to Cody

 

I think more bands would have longevity and stronger catalogs if they focused on writing 20-minute all-killer, no-filler albums

Rivers should let them co-write the next Weezer record
