Joyce Manor Frontman Clashes With Another Stage-Diver In Houston, Releases Statement patriotic straight edge piece of shit is still the funniest thinng ever
Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing that one-liner back into my memory. Kind of funny to think that story was like so unbelievably massive a couple years ago.
Not sure if I've asked this already (or if someone else has), but what's the opinion on their pre-NHA material? Worth me jumping into?
100% worth jumping into. Some think the first two albums are better than NHA; I think they're all sonically different and that works to their advantage (self-titled is my personal favorite and much closer to NHA), but Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired is actually a common favorite for just how different it is.
The band doesn't like Of All Things though, they've stated that they tried too hard to break free out the pop punk scene and it didn't work
Their pre-self titled material is pretty good too. Chumped and Five Beer Plan (the only ones the play live anymore) are some of their best songs.
of all things has good songs. enjoyable listen at the very least. see how tame i can be, the video killed the radio star cover...good release
I forgot that they re-recorded Tame and Bride for that split. Still prefer the originals, but both are great
constant headache is so good, the song that got me into them so glad the first time i saw them was algernon's last show RIP
That tour was so crazy, with Algernon, Sirs, The World Is... Thats also the first time I hung out with my girlfriend #emolove
