When Wavves played here in May it was a 550 cap. When Joyce opened for Modern Baseball they played a 950. Seems like a wild jump here but regardless I'm excited to FINALLY see this band.

 

I'm getting anxious waiting for someone to post actually visible dates

 

Wavves sold out a 1,200 cap last time they were here but it's also their hometown

 

And fucking Culture Abuse! Huge tour, so pumped.

 

I feel like there is 0 love for Culture Abuse on this site haha I really hope they put out a new record this year

 

Who is Culture Abuse? Their name sounds like incredibly off putting hardcore.

 

they're fun, i liked their album a little bit

like beachy cali pop punk but not really? if you remember the band dad punchers/warm thoughts a little bit in that realm

 

That Culture Abuse record is so good, definitely going to try to catch this tour

 

i'm only more iffy on culture abuse because they toured with and are buds with nothing

 

Maybe I will listen to them!

Peach is one of my fave albums in a long time, they're also so much fun live and very nice guys.

 

They are basically a different band live but they are great

Culture Abuse are fucking brilliant live. Their set at Reading was pure destruction, of the stage, themselves, their gear. So cool.

 

Culture Abuse needs to be the biggest band on the planet.

 

i wanna drive to see them really bad. also they've been in bigger venues every time I've seen them over the years with the exception of maybe the last couple of times where they've been steady.

I bought Culture Abuse's album bc I confused them with Gouge Away and I'd been meaning to check them out. They both sounded like hardcore bands to me

 

I really liked that pop punk meets grunge sound Wavves had for Afraid of Heights - more bands should explore that

 

You must be iffy on a lot of bands then
