Eh, I mean it comes down to opinion. Regardless of length if I listen to something and it's boring me, especially this month when theres like 100 dope albums out, I'll turn it off
i guess my point is that even if im losing interest if i see theres literally 10 minutes or less left ill stick it out, and if at the end of the day its still boring to me i just wont come back to it
I didn't say I have ever stopped the album halfway, I always finish the album.... I said that the second half loses my attention, aka I'm not as engaged with the songs, I don't think they are as strong of songs for the most part
we can do that, but just know that the album will probably grow on me anyway, so maybe in a month or so we'll be friends again, maybe
I have a pretty bad attention span, but I have to say I'll stick it out for ten more minutes unless I actively loathe what I'm hearing, in which case I probably turned it off earlier anyway
hard to think of a band thats consistently done more with such brevity than joyce. 4 insanely stellar albums clocking around with 76 minutes of music. anyway, since im hella sick and off work today, i'd have to say after a week of having this that it's probably their 2nd best. don't think it'll beat out NHA for me. nha, cody, of all things, S/T
For my money, Gatsby are the band that did more with brevity in their 4 albums, but they are mostly untouchable for me
I love Of All Things I Will Still Grow Tired, it's their weirdest and shortest record. Also has a lot of jams, See How Tame I Can Be is great.
yep. they are all great. ranking them is probably a stupid idea since it insinuates that any of em are a lesser album in a broader picture.
Joyce manor albums are significantly shorter than gatsbys albums, sans Cody. Which is still shorter just by less than 10 minutes. The others are a good fifteen minutes shorter or more than your average gatsbys album. The more you know
This album contains like every emotion I experience on a daily basis and I can listen to it over the span of three or so walks to class/work so yeah it just keeps getting better to me
