This song kicks ass. I haven’t listened to this band very much but it kinda reminds me of Weezer. Also, I love the album title. I grew up in Fresno
Was going to try and hold off, but caved and listened to the single and it’s great. Super excited for this! I might need to dive into their back catalogue a bit, only really listened to NHA and everything since then.
I'd heard about this band but had never checked them out until I spotted this thread on Saturday, and now I'm obsessed. Thanks y'all!!
Anyone have an extra ticket to the nyc show 4/22 I'm trying to get another ticket for a friend but don't feel like paying the 95 resales are right now lol
Played Gotta Let It Go, new version of nbtsa, and Don’t Try at the show tonight. All rippers, album is going to rule.
Pretty similar, I’ve only listened to the original a couple times but it is basically what I remember it being. Just a more filled out, full band sounding version where the original was very demo sounding. Edit: just listened to the original again, definitely some different lyrics and verses here. But the chorus is basically the same.
Damn, didn't realize they were in NYC on 4/22. Will be at Phish but they always bring it in New York.
snagged last min ticket for TN. Excited to hear the new stuff. have never listened to Story So Far and surprised they're opening for them.
I left before them. :P Was worth it for the 3 openers, I’m too old to sit through a headliner I don’t care about on a Monday night. Plus a JM opening set is still like 17 songs so I was happy!
I feel really apprehensive about diving into singles for this record knowing that 3 of them will mean I’ll only get another 3 minutes of record when it actually releases.
Saw them play this one a couple weeks ago and thought it was ok, still think it’s ok but maybe it’ll grow in context
