one person picks a movie for the whole class ?! That is too much power for one single person to hold

 

Well we got through about a season and a half of the Simpsons before they wanted a change so I let them have some freedom this week. Next week I’ll tighten it back up. Maybe Boy Meets World or Phineas and Ferb

 

What class is this? Maybe I should go back to school.

 

Just homeroom. 30 mins before lunch each day. It's a waste of time and should be eliminated

i dont think i had homeroom in Canada. We just had mandatory tag/manhunt games every other day to stay active. O

There is, in my small town rust belt neighborhood, a house w/ an Amy sign, & it fascinates me.

 

time to finally see if I hate this as much as I expected to from the trailers. I hate that I always have this completionist desire to see every best picture nominee.

 

that’s how I was given the incel/terrorist backlash that turned out to be nothing so I didn’t see it in theaters but waited to rent it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if that wasn’t in the forefront of my mind. But like everyone said, it’s basically gritty King of Comedy tied to a comic book character and I don’t understand how it leads the Oscars with most nominees and don’t think Phoenix (who I’ve enjoyed in other roles) deserves Best Actor.

I loved this so much. Phoenix....damn. my favorite DC movie ever? Maybe. Thought this was excellent

And I put this off forever cause I didnt think I would care. I dont really care about comic book movies and another one about the batman universe seemed uninteresting... but I was hooked from the beginning.

I thought this was going to be an okay movie and that the level of hatred was typical internet overkill but no, this really was bad.

I love Joaquin, he’s my boy, but this performance was cheesy and overkill. Terrible writing, too.
