Joaquin and Rooney strike me as being very anti technology so probably not

 

I can’t recall any other movie with the depth of a kiddie pool inspiring quite so much fierce devotion.

Were either of those so quick to have fierce at-all-costs defenders though? Like with this one it was happening before the thing even came out. And even though we now know how toothless and shallow it is, that support hasn't stopped.

 

I think it's impossible to compare to previous eras because of how the internet cultivates fan boy toxicity

 

nah Donnie Darko is nowhere near as shallow as this

 

Yeah and also this one kind of comes with a built-in base of fanboy support by virtue of being a DC comics property. Either way, it's definitely similar to those for sure, those are good comparisons I didn't think of.

You get weirdly defensive on here all the time.

 

I mean in fairness by the second quote it was made clear that they unfollowed and didn’t wish to be tagged back into it...

 

So don’t reply to the first quote and come off as a jerk if you don’t want to be a part of the thread?

 

I mean regardless of how it came off it’s super shitty to continue tagging someone who made it clear they no longer wished to be in this thread.

So let me get this straight, someone decides to unfollow a thread, great. An action someone else would have no idea they took. Someone else decides to later quote that someone’s post in a public thread where everything is open for discussion, and that original someone decides to be an asshole for literally no reason. Someone else calls that person out for being a jerk, and that person doing so is super shitty? And the other person isn’t?

Good grief.

 

i think you need to re read my posts again. They are very short, and reading comprehension is key.

 

I’ve read them just fine. He was being an ass for no reason, and for some reason you’re okay with it but not okay with him being called out for it.

Very much disagree with your assessment. Moving on.

 

It’s shitty to tag someone after they ask to not be tagged into something. Full stop. It’s really not hard.
Your opinion on if they were an asshole does not trump their request to not be tagged into a thread Jesus.

 

It never ceases to amaze me how many truly strong candidates there are for worst thread on the site
