Trailer and poster are so good. The studio has already asked the director to come up with ideas for another sequel.

 

I thought the trailer was strangely edited...almost in a cheesy way, which is not how the trailer was for the first movie, even though they visually look the same.

done ranting. i'm so excited for this. i'm nervous for john wick and it hasn't even come out yet.

 

First one was so much fun and totally unexpected. Can't wait to check this out.

 

Had the same reaction to the trailer. Kind of made me nervous.

 

Trailers aren't connected to the quality or final product of movies in any way 99% of the time, whoever cut and edited the trailer almost guaranteed had nothing to do with the making of the actual movie, it's nothing to worry about.

 

I wouldn't say 99% of the time.

 

I'm not saying a bad movie can't have a bad trailer or vice versa, I'm pointing out that the people who make a trailer for a movie have often literally nothing to do with the making of the movie, so they have no bearing on quality at all. There's nothing to read into in a trailer. It's an ad for a movie featuring contextless images and sounds and dialogue from that movie. No reason to be nervous at all.

 

....i mean, i know how trailers work. i'm just saying the edit was very weird compared to how the overall production of the movie looks

 

i enjoy these little breakdowns

 

Seems like it's going to be a pretty similar plot to the last one, but I'm pretty okay with that.

 

Terrible logo text, design, color, etc.

 

So it looks like a prequel I guess?

 

Wow, that man has some damn good aim. All those head shots. It looks like a video game fantasy come to life. Enjoyed the first one a lot, and I suppose I can't pass up accelerated action nonsense like this b/c admittedly....it is pretty fucking fun to watch.

 

Can't wait.

Every time I see a trailer for that dog movie I think it's a comedy spoof or something.

 

I probably would too if it wasn't being released in January
