It's less about Santino and more about Ruby Rose imo. That final sequence in the art installation is so memorable, and that's really my only knock with 3 is that it all feels a bit like a retread. edit: yep, also that first sequence really opens things up for the franchise
Yeah, I didn't have time to rewatch 3 but I remember the ending. Will probably be just as fun to rewatch them after tonight, and then potentially see this again lmao
I had to go through them because my wife hadn't seen them. Still need to get 3 in before Sunday night.
I am seeing in theaters again with my dad at some point so this is a solid idea. if I didn’t take one a few weeks ago to hang out with my new cat I would
I don't really feel 3 is a retread at all, having John be excommunicado from the beginning is a very different, awesome way for the movie to differentiate itself. movie rules but yeah 2 has some top-tier henchman battles. all the fights with Common, especially the potshots and the mirror installation showdown are some of the best in the franchise. just a shame the actual villain is so unmemorable compared to his lackeys lmao
we never find out what happened to Cassian right? he's still alive last time we see him, would've been cool if they brought him back
Watched the OG the other day. Watching 2 now. 3 should be this afternoon and trying to catch the 7pm for 4 tonight.
I just watched 3 again and really enjoyed it. It's crazy to think they can top some of the fight sequences, but from the reviews, I'm excited to see them try and at least match it, if not succeed by going up a level. I liked that the chairman was in it. I have no idea who most of the guest stars in 4 are. I'm pretty much going in blind except for I know that Joe Burrow is in it. I can't imagine he'll be doing too many of his own stunts though, no way the Bengals allowed that.
I've seen almost no footage of this. I feel like the trailer hasn't played much before other movies I've seen.
I’m glad I’m gonna watch that again this afternoon. I don’t remember that at all. I have not watched it since the theaters, despite having the Blu-ray.
3 has some great sequences for sure (the knife museum is one of the best in the series, no doubt), but as a whole it’s definitely the “worst” of them. As cool as the dogs are, it honestly loses me with the whole Casablanca, Halle Berry, Berrada, desert, and finger part. Zero rules too, though.
I’ve always felt that the have gotten worse as it went. I still like all 3, from what I recall, but I feel like the first being more straight forward and to the point just hits harder. As I am wrapping up 2 now, I still think 1 is stronger. Let’s see how I feel about 3 in a bit.
The world building makes me go 3>2>1 And I love how everyone alive seems to be a hitman and if you aren't it's just normal to see people getting killed all around you
