Got my tickets for Thursday. There's never been much in the way of recurring antagonists or characters aside from the Continental, but I'm wondering if I should rewatch Parabellum before then.
I am absolutely seeing this in IMAX this weekend (well, the "not quite IMAX" IMAX screen in a normal theater) here in Oslo. I'm going to drink a shit ton of caffeine, so the action scenes really get me going
it's been so long since I've seen 2 & 3 that I'll for sure watch them this week. We'll see if I can convince my fiance to also watch or if I'm just going to have to watch them on my iPad or something
when 3 came out I was gonna do a double-feature of 3 and Brightburn, just spend like 5 hours at the movies. Then I got a flat tire on the way and only got to see Brightburn, watched JW 3 later
Yep, and John cutting his pinky off in the desert to have his excommunicado status revoked Damn, you picked the wrong movie lol my condolences
It's okay, in college I caught a double-feature of Batman v Superman and 2001 in theaters and fell asleep during 2001 lmao
Rewatched 2 last week and 3 last night. 2 is still my favorite of the series, but 3 is still great. Quick summary of where 3 left off: An Adjudicator was sent to investigate the fallout of John killing the High Table member at the end of 2 and determines that Winston and Morpheus helped Wick. They're both stripped of their power. At the end, Winston parlays with the Adjudcator and negotiates his way back into power and in service to the High Table. He also seemingly turns against Wick and shoots at him, forcing Wick to jump off a roof but somehow survive. John is taken to Morpheus by Jason Mantzoukas, and the two agree to join forces and go to war with the High Table.
