Watching 2nd episode - really like the world building in this, and how they give all the characters adequate back stories. It really feels like early 80's NYC
Overall I really enjoyed all 3 episodes; the world building and backstory choices were interesting, and the action was fun. Gibson’s character has a satisfying conclusion.
The Continental was fun. I'm impressed at how good the action was for tv, specifically the hand-to-hand combat stuff. They absolutely could have cast someone else besides fucking Mel Gibson, though.
Sold my DVDs so I could get a Blu-ray boxset, then saw the steelbooks from Walmart come with replica coins. Not sure what to go with.
I usually don't buy the bluray for anything I already have on dvd but I definitely have gotten both for a few horror flicks here and there. Damn Walmart cover for Pearl was way to cool to pass up. I understand the struggle
Okay so he’s either alive (what’s been my theory) or it take see place in between / before other movies
Ughhhh Probably either offered him a ton of money for this, or let him have some creative input (or neither of these, and he is just cool with doing another, haha)
i think he's chill enough that if the studio wants him back he's gonna come back, tho creative input would be nice
