My point is if it's the real deal, it felt quick, almost rushed, from him sitting on the steps until the end. Not like the death of a protagonist of 4 movies. And it's hard to believe your eyes these days, anyone can come and say it was Winston and King faking his death. I wish it were clearer and there were more closure involved. I know Wick is all about keeping things simple and straight to the point, but something felt missing, and I do agree with the "might not be dead" crowd. I think it's on purpose. Edit: read a bit about it and this the takeaway as far as I can tell. They want to keep options open.
They won't do this (and probably shouldn't, because I might be the only one who thinks it's a good idea), but I'd love it if a fifth film went fully detached from reality and had Wick still dead, but fighting through the afterlife to reunite with his wife or something. I bet Stahelski could do some wild things with heaven/hell aesthetics and it would be a way to not go back on the ending of No. 4, even if they left the door open a little. But even if No. 5 is just "oh, he survived and now there's somehow more story" I'll be there opening night
