Just don't think re-releasing the same cut will get it back on IMAX or Dolby screens, that's all. It's a competitive market.
It had its time. It is what it is. We’re basically kicking off summer movie season somehow already it feels like. I don’t think putting it back in imax and such is gonna be a priority for anyone at the studio, regardless of a different version or not.
I've had a running joke that Paul Rudd is a vampire for years now, so to hear someone else make the same joke makes me smile.
I'm so sad that I didn't like this at all. for me the only highlights were the Lawrence of arabia cut and the overhead scene.
I found it too long, and too slow. even the action scenes felt like they dragged. I'm sorry! and I know its never been a serious movie but this one takes the silliness to extreme levels. why does everything have to be anime now.
To be clear DickyCullz I’m not mad at your opinion! I’m just confused, this was one of the most crowd-pleasing movies I’ve seen in years. So fun.
I'm glad people are having a blast with it, I really wanted to love it, was hyped for it. It just did nothing for me :( it be like that sometimes
the only person having more fun than Scott Adkins in this was me, watching Scott Adkins have fun in this
Maybe the hype killed this for me. But I wasn't as amazed as everyone else. It was good. Loved the Donnie Yen scenes and the Paris stuff. But other than that, nothing new. I need to rewatch but I think the 3rd might still be the best. The book scene, the knives, the dogs, etc. I know this comment isn't going to be popular. I'm just a little perplexed. Obviously all the fights were on par with the rest, I just expected more. Probably too much hype.
This is the only movie in the series where a guy gets shot with a dragon’s breath shotgun, catches fire and runs off screen screaming, runs back on and screen and then gets shot with the dragon’s breath shotgun again, all in the same shot, which makes it the best one by default I fear
With this being the end of John, a four-film boxset would be great. Hopefully we get a good one towards the end of the year.
Having never watched these movies, I’ve been doing one a night on Peacock (watching Chapter 2 now) and they’re such a treat. Nothing beats well lit choreographed fights in interesting set pieces.
