Even Parabellum is like a 7.5 on a bad day so I ain't mad at it, it just drags a bit in the midsection where as the slow stuff in this one is frontloaded to pay off at the end
Wow, I REALLY thought Mr. Nobody was John David Washington. Shocked to see that it was another actor I'm not familiar with
Roundabout scene was a cool concept, and I loved seeing Wick pinballing off of cars at the beginning but it looked awful to me, just kept reminding me of the chase sequence in Mission Impossible: Fallout which looked miles better.
That’s kind of what I was referring to earlier, cool concept, but it’s so over the top and no way to make it look good or natural.
The overhead fight scene in the church was unreal; my mouth was open the whole time for how absurd and intense it was. Might go above the knife fight scene in 3 for most favorite scene in the franchise
This was really dope. Berlin club fight scenes were top tier, with all that fountain water raining down. The overhead shots were amazing. It was FUNNY. I can’t believe Wick didn’t have a line about the dog at the end, something like “dont fuck with dogs.” It would have perfectly connected with the first film. he ain’t dead btw
can’t believe ppl are nitpicking any of the action sequences in this. release yourself into the pure expressionist flow of the action opera you’re watching
Perfect maybe ending to the franchise. Unbelievable and exhausting level of filmmaking. Donnie Yen ruled. Keanu goated. Can’t wait to go again.
This ended on a cliffhanger posts credits scene. Given the franchise’s consistent growth for each film, I don’t see why there won’t be another one. Now, they will likely alter the title, would be my guess, but it’ll continue on.
Ya know, if I were a parent I would simply not take my baby to a 3 PM packed showing of John Wick 4 I would simply understand that sacrifices have to be made, such as not getting to see John Wick 4 in a packed showing at 3 PM
