Well shit, just found out he added some July tour dates, and one is right in my town of Minneapolis on July 12th; stoked!

Saw him live Tuesday night(10pm show too, haha); soooo good. Amazing singing voice, and great with the guitar too. Was first to meet him after the show at the merch table, and got the tour poster signed and picked up a pre-order of the album

Oh hell yeah. I saw The Civil Wars before they split and it was one of the best and most intimate shows I've ever been to. Can't wait for this album. Joy Williams put out a great album last year too.

Was that on the True Detective soundtrack? I know he had a song or two on there.

Wait a second he was on tour w/ The Secret Sisters? Aren't they the ones who appear to be featured on most of the tracks off Dan Layus' solo album?

Don't think it was in TD since it's on his new album, but I could be wrong. Yes about The Secret Sisters and Dan Layus though

Have you heard the b-side Maple Hill yet? I ordered the 7" a while back but haven't received it yet. Still considering preordering the full length.

I'm all about this so far. Right up my alley.

    "What's So" is something special.

"The Once And Future Queen" is another instant favorite.

anyone listening to this? I only listened to a few songs when the stream was up, so I'm getting to fully enjoy this now.

"Hope I Die". Wow. Between this and Lisa Hannigan, I'll be set for a while.
