John Mayer - The Search for Everything (2017) Album

New album coming ALL YEAR.

According his Instagram, this album is going to be released four songs at a time each month throughout 2017.

The so-called "Wave One" is out on January 20th. This is the tracklist:

1. Moving on and Getting Over
2. Changing
3. Love on the Weekend
4. You're Gonna Live Forever in Me

The single sounds like a pretty safe John Mayer song. He just toured with The Dead, I wish he would make an album where he really showcases his guitar skills and jams out. Maybe he does do that on other songs on this album.

 

Looking forward to this.

Holy shit that's badass

 

48 tracks, holy fuck. Hopefully he can maintain a high level of quality throughout, but I'm fairly confident he will.

 

I hope this gives him a chance to just explore every corner of his sound. Four albums worth of material is a ton, so I bet he tried to keep it varied.

 

That's exactly what I was thinking. Hopefully it covers the spectrum of his past work.

 

That's really awesome. Gives me confidence that he'll release some real jams.

What the fuck. That's insane. I'm happy about getting so much material from him but I have no idea how I'm going to listen to this thing once it's all out.
